Italian Pronunciation Preview featuring the song "You'll be in My Heart" in Italian from the film TARZAN

This song made me cry the first time I heard it in Brazilian Portuguese. Hahaha :_-) Whenever I hear this song, I sometimes can't help remembering my bestfriend who passed away 4 years ago (in a vehicular accident). Sh*tty event no? Well, I think merda (sh*t) usually happens when you least expect it. (Questa/Così) è la vita!! But that experience taught me to be very strong and stay happy even when I don't have a bestfriend. (But life with a bestfriend (who's more than a brother or sister to you) is definitelty happier, no? (sigh) Ma ♫♪ Perchè tu sarai nel mio cuore (sei), per sempre ci sarai ... sempre ♫♪ Cheesy no? But sometimes cheesy can feel good inside like a guilty pleasure. :-)

Sempre nel mio cuore
( Always in my Heart / You’ll Be In My Heart –ITALIAN by Phil Collins)

Io sono qui,
I am here,
dai,non piangere,
come on, don’t cry,
Stringiti a me più che puoi,
Hug me as tight as you can,
io ti proteggerò,
I will protect you,
non temere, non piangere,
don’t be afraid, don’t cry,
sono qua!
I'm here!

ci sono io e d'ora in poi
Here I am and from now on
fra le mie braccia al caldo dormirai, you’ll sleep in the warmth of my embrace
il nostro nodo non si scioglie,
our link won’t break,
nessuno mai lo farà
no one will ever (break it) you will be ...

* Perchè tu sarai
 because
nel mio cuore sei,
You’ll be in my heart
da adesso in poi
from now on
per sempre, ci sarai,
until forever, (t)here you’ll be, me

Sei dentro me
you're inside
e chi mi dice no
and those who tell me no’ that you’ll always be
non sa che ci sarai sempre
do not know
sempre

always

DID YOU KNOW ... ?

that the song "You'll be in my heart" performed by Phil Collins and translated in different languages (such as the Italian version above) spent nineteen non consecutive weeks at number one on the Adult Contemporary charts and peaked at #21 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song and the Academy Award for Best Original Song? -- I just found out today when I looked it up. :-)

Quick Introduction to the Italian Language

Learn Italian through Music, Movies and Multimedia

I made this blog with the intention of using a multimedia-based method to teach the Italian language. I think this method is the most effective pedagogic method because it makes learning
easy, exciting and thus very effective!

The multimedia files that I'll feature here will include clips from different Italian movies, music, games and other fun snippets.

Some sample sources:

Italian Films
(controversial, blockbuster, entertaining, etc.)

Italian Music

(audio files, video files including videoke/karaoke, complete albums, greatest hits, double subtitled songs with translations, etc)

Italian Games

plus Italian language references:

The goal of the multimedia method is to expose learners to the REAL ITALIAN (uncensored) spoken by Italian-speaking people) around the world.

The multimedia method will also train learners to speak like or almost like a native speaker as well as understand native speakers HOWEVER fast they speak and wherever they are from, i.e. in movies/TV shows, on the radio or in real life and in any Italian-speaking country.
